Tin extracting from tinned copper scrap

Tin extracting from tinned copper scrap. The electrochemical tin stripping tank is equipped with a dedicated electrolyte. The metal frame basket filled with metal-plated copper wires serves as the anode, while the corrosion-resistant alloy plate acts as the cathode. Upon energization, the tin coating on the anode scraps undergoes oxidation, converting into tin ions that enter the electrolyte. Under the influence of the electric field, these ions migrate to the cathode plate where they undergo reduction, precipitating metallic sponge tin.
